Throw it back? No freaking way, that there is a kind of cod, called a Ling Cod. I catch those all the time when I go deep sea fishing. Other then halibut I think Ling Cod is the best tasting type of fish I have ever caught. Unlike rock fish, and other kinds of fish you catch deep sea fishing, they are 100% pure carnivores, which is why their meat is sooo good!
