The shadow from the cylinder is portraying an illusion. B is actually a lighter color than A, but because of the shadow over it, it's the same color as A. Hold your fingers over the squares near A and B, and just focus on A and B. It's pretty cool!

Open the image in MS Paint or other picture editor. Cut a piece out of one of the squares. Drag it to the other. You will see they are exactly the same color. ;-)

yeah... this is stupid.. they really have the same color... you don't believe me? do this.. copy the pix, open it with Paint, click the click the Airbrush (looks like a spray can), then click Medicine dropper (to pick a color), pick the color of square 'A' then spray that color to square 'B'. see for yourselves.. hehe

I took it to paint and cut out the "b"tile and shifted it to the "a" tile, and yes they really are the same color.

Technically, tilting your screen back isn't doing anything about making them the same color. Tilting your screen back just adds a sort of negative effect, AKA: color distortion. The shadow from the cylinder gets the shadow effect increased on the white blocks. A + B = What you C.
